Delta Dawn
Recently, Mitchell messaged me to ask if I could make an album artwork that resembles the same style I used for Green Eyed Lady, but with a specific cut out he gave me an example of. With under two years between the creation of the two artworks, you can see a difference in quality. I love looking at things like this purely to make note of the things I’ve learned over time, as well as how I have developed my art style.

When Mitchell approached me about designing the artwork for this album, I was learning about the use of textures and layers in graphic design, which happens to be a style that many bluegrass album artworks have in common. I was excited to have the chance to use what I was learning and applying it to a project.

Green Eyed Lady
When Mitchell approached me to make this single's artwork, I wanted to showcase a more grassroots-style look. I looked at other grassroots albums and some examples he sent me, and I decided to work with this idea of a paper cut-out visual. I’ve used this style of design before in some poster designs, and it worked out to be a striking visual for his single.

Maple Sugar
Mitchell asked me to create this design at the same time as Green Eyed Lady, but I chose a different approach to the artwork. While I wanted to showcase the bluegrass sound of his music in the Green Eyed Lady cover, I thought that a visual of a maple syrup bottle would be more recognizable. By using a recognizable symbol and incorporating the title of his single, I thought it would look striking on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
